Kevin Loughlin BSc (Hons), BSc (Chiro), RGN, I.N.P., D.C., MRCC (Doctor of Chiropractic)
I have 35 years NHS and Private Practice experience. As well as a Doctor of Chiropractic, I am an Independent Nurse Prescriber, Medical Cosmetic Practitioner, Clinic owner and Practitioner.
I qualified as a university Honours Degree level nurse in 1992 with a BSc (Hons) RGN. I have worked in most hospital and community healthcare settings including accident & emergency and intensive care. For the past 28 years I have been working in my own private practice, after qualifying as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1996, BSc (Chiro). In 2009 I competed advanced training in the use of Botox®, dermal fillers, chemical peels, thread vein removal and a number of other aesthetic treatments.
As well as using botulinum toxin (Botox®) for a wide range of facial cosmetic improvements, I also offer Botox® for the treatment of Chronic Migraines, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating in the armpits), jaw contour reduction (masseter), bruxism (teeth grinding).

Diversified Chiropractic
At Alpha Chiropractic and Sports Injury Clinic, we use an adjusting style commonly referred to as “Diversified.” Many people ask the questions “what is chiropractic?” or “what is a chiropractor?” Diversified is the technique practiced by Danial David Palmer, the first chiropractor who founded the chiropractic medical profession in 1895.
Gonstead Technique
Named after its developer, Dr. Clarence Gonstead, this approach came from his engineering background. His “foundation principle” explains how a subluxation pattern in one area of the spine can produce compensatory changes in another.
Thompson Drop Technique
The Thompson Technique, developed by Dr. J. Clay Thompson, has evolved into a system of analysis and a way of adjusting the full spine.
